What Clients Are Saying
Clients at Restoration Place are given Satisfaction Surveys so that we know the things we are doing well and the areas that may need improvement. Below are some answers to two important questions asked:
What progress/changes have you seen in yourself since receiving counseling at RPM?
- My connection with God grows stronger and stronger. [My counselor's] counseling, sharing of experiences, and genuine interest in helping guide me towards surrendering to God’s grace and love is healing and nurturing to my soul. (44 year old)
- More confidence, better tools to use for interacting with people, information to improve marriage, and improvement in marriage! (59 year old)
- I’ve been able to overcome obstacles I haven’t been able to since before I started coming here. (14 year old)
- I’ve seen my daughter really trying to put the advice and ideas to work that her counselor gives her. My daughter is making positive baby steps. (Mom of 14 year old)
- I have clear tools that I understand. She has taught me so much about communication techniques. (23 year old)
- Remarkable 180. I do not struggle with anxiety, depression, or negative thoughts anymore. I am strong and confident. (32 year old)
- I am in a much more peaceful, self-confident place. I am working towards creating healthy boundaries. (26 year old)
- It has been a great help for transition periods in my life. I also feel very safe here. (26 year old)
- I am more confident and comfortable with myself and my ability to handle situations. (57 year old)
The industry standard fee for counseling is $100-150 per session. In light of this information and your knowledge of Restoration Place Ministries, what role does affordability play in your decision to seek counseling here?
- A lot… with all the sessions I have needed, I would not be able to afford it otherwise.
- I’m able to not have to work as much while in school. That is a huge lifted burden off my shoulders.
- I would not be able to get the help I need and see a counselor as often as I would need to at the full rate. This is extremely advantageous and less stressful.
- Very much! I would not have attended as many sessions as I did had it not been affordable.
- It is huge! Without this I wouldn’t be able to afford counseling.
- Affordability is important but you can’t put a price on helping your child. I am, however, thankful RPM is more affordable than most places.
- Without RPM, I would not be able to afford counseling. The role that RPM plays in my ability to receive counseling is that it provides the opportunity I would otherwise not have.
- Cost is excellent! Faith-based counseling vs. 12-step (“higher power”) is new approach and what I’ve needed for years!
- The counseling I’ve received should be above the industry standard!! Fortunately, the affordability has allowed me to come more often that I would have been able with a higher fee.
